Multi-Agent System for Smart-Grid Control with Commitment Mismatch and Congestion

Abstract

Distribution networks must become smarter. Indeed they may otherwise become subject to issues such as line congestion due to the imminent deployment of electric vehicles at a large scale. Hence, it is necessary that these electric vehicles play a role in mitigating this type of issue. The objective of this paper is to present a cooperative multi-agent system limiting these problems using an electric vehicle fleet as distributed electricity storage units.
